According to Alex Speier of the Boston Globe, Anibal Sanchez is considering a return to Major League Baseball in 2022. Analysis: The 37-year-old right-hander held several showcases for interested teams last spring training, but wasn't able to find a deal to his liking and wound up sitting out the entire 2022 season. It doesn't sound like he's quite ready to retire though. Sanchez registered a gruesome 6.62 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 43/18 K/BB ratio over 53 frames with the Nationals during the truncated 2020 season.
