Robert Murray, formerly of The Athletic, reports that the Cubs have signed Dan Winkler to a one-year contract.
Analysis: Winkler had a rough 2019 season, posting a 4.98 ERA with 11 walks over 21 2/3 relief innings with the Braves. He was excellent for them in 2018, though, and is worth a shot on what is surely a modest deal.
