Peter Lambert struggled while allowing five runs over three innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Friday. He allowed six hits with a walk and three strikeouts. You can't be surprised by these results; not with the way Lambert has pitched for most of the second-half of the season. He came into the start with a 6.98 ERA, and that number bumps up to 7.50 after his struggles against the hard-hitting Dodgers on Friday. There's some long-term potential here, but as long as he's in Colorado, it's going to be hard to justify him as a starter without vast improvement of his command. His final start is scheduled for Thursday against the Giants.
