According to Robert Murray, formerly of The Athletic, the Mets have reopened trade talks with the Pirates regarding Starling Marte.
Analysis: Murray cautions that while talks are ongoing, a deal does not appear close at this time. The two sides have been talking on and off for months now, as the Mets continue to explore possible upgrades in center field.
