Schwarber hammers 14th homer WednesdayJune 12, 2019 | 03:31 PM

Kyle Schwarber mashed his 14th homer Wednesday in the Cubs' 10-1 rout of Colorado. Schwarber unloaded on Antonio Senzatela in the second inning, sailing a monstrous, 432-foot blast into the right-field seats for a three-run homer. That was his only hit of the afternoon, though Schwarber did add to his RBI total with a sac fly in the fifth. Five seasons into his career, the husky 26-year-old settled in as an all-or-nothing power slugger in the same vein as Joey Gallo and countless other one-trick ponies across the league.
