Borrego wants Malik Monk to get strongerJuly 17, 2019 | 08:43 AM

James Borrego said he wants Malik Monk to focus on getting stronger in the weight room this summer. "I need to see him make another step in his physicality, his body and I think he's working on that right now," said Borrego. "That's one thing we've asked of him this summer and he's put time into the weight room. So physically really maturing, becoming more of a presence out there." Borrego added that Monk will see a ton of opportunity next year with Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lamb and Tony Parker no longer around, and he'd like Monk to take on more playmaking responsibilities as well.
