Brandon Ingram said that he's "pretty close" to resuming normal workouts after undergoing surgery to address a blood clotting issue in his shoulder this past March. Ingram hasn't yet started shooting the ball, but he's been working on his form and has gone through ball-handling and passing drills. Ingram put in career-highs during his 2018-19 campaign, churning out averages of 18.3 points, 5.1 boards, 3.0 dimes and 2.5 turnovers per game on 49.7% shooting, so it'll be interesting to see what he can do in Alvin Gentry's more uptempo system in New Orleans. Jrue Holiday and Zion Williamson will eat first, but Ingram could be the third option on that team.
