Jaylen Brown thrived in his return against the Knicks on Thursday, making 7-of-10 from the field for a season-high 21 points with three rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 25 minutes off the bench.December 06, 2018 | 08:23 PM
While missing the last week, Brown had to answer questions about coming off the bench, and he responded very well for his first 20-point night of the year. Brown played some of his best ball last season when Kyrie Irving was out and he saw an increased usage rate, so the move to the bench could be a positive for him. Still, he'll have to battle coach Brad Stevens' deep rotation and his fantasy upside isn't high anyway, so he's really just a lukewarm pickup.
