Karl-Anthony Towns double-doubles in loss to MEMJanuary 13, 2021 | 08:29 PM
Karl-Anthony Towns posted a 25-point, 14-rebound double-double in Wednesday's loss to the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Towns added three assists, one 3-pointer, two blocks and one turnover in his 34 minutes of floor time, and he finished 8-of-17 from the field and 8-of-8 from the stripe. However, this was a very bad loss for the Wolves as they led by double figures for most of the game, but then completely fell apart during the fourth quarter, conceding a 28-10 run as they let their lead slip away. Head coach Ryan Saunders spoke to their lack of physicality after the game, saying: "We got to be more physical. That's a physical group over there. We got to be more physical plain and simple. Take pride when we're guarding the ball. Take pride in protecting the rim."
