Rudy Gobert was named to the All-NBA Third Team on Thursday and will be eligible to sign a Designated Veteran Extension in the summer of 2020.
Although he wasn't named to an All-NBA team last season, Gobert was named the Defensive Player of the Year for the 2017-18 campaign. Thus, he is eligible to ink a supermax extension in July of 2020, which would pay him approximately $247 million over five years.
