Shams: Aron Baynes exercises player optionJune 12, 2019 | 12:26 PM
Aron Baynes has exercised his $5.9 million player option for the 2019-20 season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
He's coming off an injury-plagued season at just 51 games following three seasons with at least 75 outings per season. Baynes has found a home in Boston both as a backup center, and even played next to Al Horford in some matchups. He figures to keep his role next season with minutes in the teens, but won't have much fantasy value in most formats.
