Steph Curry's nine 3s lead GSW in Gm 1 winMay 14, 2019 | 08:32 PM
Stephen Curry hit 12-of-23 shots and tied his playoff career high by hitting 9-of-15 3-pointers on his way to 36 points, six rebounds, seven assists, a steal and just one turnover in 35 minutes of Tuesday's relatively easy 116-94 win over the Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.
Portland's defense was a mess and it seemed like every 3-pointer the Warriors shot was uncontested. All it took was a simple pick to set Curry and Klay Thompson free, and the Splash Brothers took advantage of the sieve-like D. Curry's one turnover is impressive, as was his entire game tonight. Thompson hit just 10-of-24 shots and 3-of-9 3-pointers for 26 points, while Draymond Green did a little bit of everything on his way to 12 points, rounding out the double-digit scoring for the Dubs. Green added 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals, three blocks and a 3-pointer in the easy win.
