Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he doesn't "see the need" to play running back Adrian Peterson in Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs, reports ESPN.com. Thus it appears Peterson will go through a third straight preseason without taking a snap. Peterson said he doesn't care if he plays Saturday. "I'm wired up [for the season]," he said.
