Vikings running back Adrian Peterson issued a response Thursday to the ESPN report that he told Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in a phone conversationhe would like to play for Dallas after his tenure with Minnesota concludes. "This was a casual conversation between NFL colleagues in which I never indicated I wanted to leave the Vikings," Petersons statement reads, according to The Dallas Morning News. "I have always said I understand the NFL is a business but that I would love to retire as a Viking."
