"This guy is getting hit a lot," Zimmer said. "If we can get him space, he can do a lot of damage." Peterson has led the league in yards after contact each of the past two seasons, a clear sign he's getting hit almost as soon as he touches the ball. The Vikings first need a quarterback to scare defenses. Matt Cassel is in the driver's seat to start. OC Norv Turner will no doubt open up the offense more than Bill Musgrave did, while Cordarrelle Patterson's emergence will help. Peterson has at least another season of top-three fantasy production in him.
