Ezekiel Elliott worked with the second-team offense behind Darren McFadden as the Cowboys began OTAs this week.May 25, 2016 | 08:25 PM

One of the primary concerns for Zeke pessimists is that he might open his rookie year in a committee, sharing time with McFadden and/or Alfred Morris. "He's going to compete," RBs coach Gary Brown said of Elliott. "Zeke has to earn it." Elliott said Wednesday that he felt "shell shocked" by the speed on the field at Cowboys OTAs. "It's a lot faster pace." Elliott emerging as Dallas' lead back remains inevitable, but McFadden arguably earned a role by averaging 4.56 YPC in one of the league's worst offenses last season.
