Case KeenumQB | Redskins

Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic ultimately expects Case Keenum to remain with the Broncos in 2019.February 10, 2019 | 08:35 AM

The Broncos will surely explore their options in free agency and are likely to draft a quarterback in April (Missouri's Drew Lock is reportedly on their radar), though considering the $10 million it would leave behind in dead money, releasing Keenum could be difficult. Keenum isn't Denver's long-term solution at QB?"GM John Elway has admitted as much?"but keeping him in tow for another year while developing a young franchise quarterback might be a good compromise. Keenum is due an $18 million base salary in 2019, the final year of his current contract.
