Andrei Svechnikov seeing top-six minutesMarch 15, 2019 | 03:35 AM
Rookie Andrei Svechnikov has moved to the second line alongside Jordan Staal and Teuvo Teravainen.
Svechnikov was thrust into the role when Micheal Ferland was injured yet again and the second overall pick in the 2018 Draft was considered seasoned enough to get the chance. Coach Rod Brind'Amour has been watching the progression of Svechnikov carefully and has given him the chance at this time, almost 70 games into his career. Svechnikov has 17 goals and 32 points this season and there is going to be a huge jump in his fantasy numbers in the next year or two. He is a keeper.
