Cory Schneider admitted that his injured hip had been bothering him for a while.August 15, 2018 | 10:17 AM

Schneider finally got surgery to repair the injury in May. "It was something that had kind of cropped maybe a year and a half ago, a season and a half ago," Schneider said on the podcast. "It's just something that nags and it there, but you don't ever feel like it's bad enough that you need to sit out for six months, because there's no real good time to do it, unfortunately." The 32-year-old had a 17-16-6 record with a 2.93 goals-against-average and a .907 save percentage last season. There's a chance he could be ready for the start of the season.
