According to Dom Luszczyszyn of The Athletic, Miro Heiskanen is Dallas' favorite for the Conn Smythe Trophy. Analysis: The Stars currently trail 3-2 in this best-of-seven final, with Heiskanen being a key figure in their journey to this point. The Finnish blueliner has four points through the opening five games of the Stanley Cup Final, but has a total of 26 in his last 26 games. Not only has he been a factor on the score sheet, but Heiskanen has been a stabilizing presence for the Stars from the back. He outdueled Victor Hedman in Game 1, before having a rough Games 2 and 3. Things got better for Heiskanen in Game 4 but it was a return to his usual play in Game 5 as the Stars stayed alive.
