Miro Heiskanen is DAL favorite for Conny SmytheSeptember 27, 2020 | 05:47 PM

According to Dom Luszczyszyn of The Athletic, Miro Heiskanen is Dallas' favorite for the Conn Smythe Trophy. Analysis: The Stars currently trail 3-2 in this best-of-seven final, with Heiskanen being a key figure in their journey to this point. The Finnish blueliner has four points through the opening five games of the Stanley Cup Final, but has a total of 26 in his last 26 games. Not only has he been a factor on the score sheet, but Heiskanen has been a stabilizing presence for the Stars from the back. He outdueled Victor Hedman in Game 1, before having a rough Games 2 and 3. Things got better for Heiskanen in Game 4 but it was a return to his usual play in Game 5 as the Stars stayed alive. For Heiskanen to get his hands on the Conn Smythe Trophy, he and his teammates will need to continue to battle and win on both Monday and Wednesday night.
