Tuukka Rask will probably have a lighter workload again in 2019-20 after sharing the crease with Jaroslav Halak last year appeared to keep him fresher for Boston's playoff run. "I think so," said Rask. "I think the league's trending that way. The players are better, they're shooting better, there's more scoring opportunities. It takes a toll on goalies. I strongly believe it's a very difficult task if you play 60, 70 games and are expected to play 25 more at a playoff level. I was very happy, Jaro was very happy, I think it worked out great for us." He added that this is the healthiest he has felt following a season after he appeared in 46 matches during the regular season and 24 playoff matches.
