Guardians' Joey Cantillo: Getting start SaturdayAugust 01, 2024 | 12:57 PM

Cantillo will start Saturday versus the Orioles in place of the injured Tanner Bibee (shoulder), Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports. Bibee is having his start pushed back a few days as he battles some shoulder tightness. Cantillo yielded three earned over 3.1 innings of work on Sunday against the Phillies in his major-league debut. The Guardians have a doubleheader next Friday in Minnesota and Cantillo will be a candidate to get another start that day.
