Jeff McNeil was removed from Friday's battle against the Phillies in the third inning due to a possible injury.
Analysis: No word on what happened yet, but it's possible that he may have tweaked something while sliding during the second inning. Eduardo Escobar was also pulled prior to the third inning, causing the Mets to play Mark Canha at third base. Expect an update shortly.
