The Tamp Bay Rays have acquired OF Mallex Smith, minor league SS Carlos Vargas, and minor league LHP Ryan Yarbrough from the Seattle Mariners for LHP Drew Smyly. Writer's Analysis: Mallex Smith becomes the fourth OF for a Rays team that likes to play matchups. If there is an injury anywhere in the Rays outfield Smith will have immediate value in the stolen base category. In re-draft leagues Smith is at best a flier. In dynasty leagues, Smith is worth holding onto.
