Red Sox signed INF/OF Marwin Gonzalez to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Analysis: The deal could potentially max out at $4.1 million if Gonzalez hits all of his incentives. The super utility player is projected to bounce around all over the field for the Red Sox as he usually does. Gonzalez is coming off an ugly showing in 2020, but Boston is paying a modest price and he should be useful.
