Bobby Portis scores 16 off bench, Bucks win in 6July 20, 2021 | 09:01 PM
Bobby Portis scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting (2-of-5 3-pointers) to go with three rebounds and one block in 23 minutes, and Khris Middleton added 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting (1-of-4 3-pointers) with five rebounds, five assists, and four steals as the Bucks defeated the Suns 105-98 on Tuesday night to win their best-of-7 series 4-2.
Analysis: Portis played like a madman, which is par for the course for him, but on Tuesday night, there was added juice to every shot he made, every hard foul he committed, and every glare he gave with that crazed look in his eyes. Portis brought the energy and tenacity that the Bucks needed all night long, while Middleton hit arguably the biggest shot of the game late in the fourth quarter to give the Bucks a six-point lead with 56.9 seconds remaining. Middleton was huge closing games all postseason long really, and though he did not have the most prolific scoring night, he was clutch down the stretch making timely shots and free throws to seal the win. Jrue Holiday struggled offensively, going 4-of-19 from the floor (2-of-7 3-pointers) for just 12 points, but he flirted with a triple-double as he tallied 11 assists and nine rebounds with four steals in 46 minutes in Tuesday's Game 6 win. Holiday was exceptional on both Chris Paul and Devin Booker and taking turns on both of the All-Star guards and taking both of them out of the game when he was guarding them.
