Chris Paul's 26 not enough, Suns eliminated in sixJuly 20, 2021 | 09:21 PM
Chris Paul scored 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting (3-of-4 3-pointers) with five assists, one steal, and three turnovers in 39 minutes as the Suns saw their season end in a 105-98 loss to the Bucks on Tuesday night.
Analysis: Through six games, Paul tallied 21 turnovers, this is equal to the number of turnovers he had in the three previous playoff series combined this postseason. To put it plainly, Paul was simply not himself for the majority of this series, and though he had a solid performance shooting the ball in Game six, his five assists and three turnovers are far from the vintage CP3 that we have become accustomed to seeing. Paul's backup, Cameron Payne came off the bench and had a great first half tallying 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting (2-of-2 3-pointers) with two assists. Payne barely played in the second half, which was questionable seeing that Phoenix could have used some extra scoring and shooting on the court, The Suns went 6-of-25 from three on Tuesday, good for 24.0%, as we all know that simply wasn't going to cut it against a hot Milwaukee squad.
