Grant Williams drops 23 with 7 treys in spot startMarch 18, 2023 | 09:51 PM

Grant Williams got the start on Saturday and contributed 23 points (8-for-16 FGs), four rebounds, two assists and seven 3-pointers in a 118-117 loss to Utah. Analysis: Williams set a new career-high with seven 3-pointers in this game, and he was able to have the second-highest scoring game of his career as well. He got the starting nod with both Marcus Smart and Al Horford sidelined, since they needed extra height to combat Utah's tall frontcourt. That allowed Williams to shine in what has been an otherwise disappointing season for him. When the team is fully healthy, Williams hasn't been able to produce enough to be worth rostering. They have two more back-to-backs this season, with the next coming on March 30th and 31st. That will be Williams' next chance to provide value.
