According to a recent ESPN poll, Ja Morant is an overwhelming favorite to win the 2019-20 Rookie of the Year award. Analysis: ESPN polled a mixture of local beat writers from across the league as well as national and international reporters. All 70 voters polled gave Morant their first-place votes. Although Zion Williamson has been awesome since making his debut, he's played just 19 games. Morant has appeared in 59 games and is averaging 17.6 points and 6.9 assists while leading Memphis to a potential playoff berth.
