Kyle Lowry has procedure on left thumbJuly 18, 2019 | 08:52 AM

Kyle Lowry had a procedure to repair tendon injury in his left thumb. Woj adds that Lowry hopes to be ready for USA Basketball training camp and FIBA World Cup later this summer, so it would appear it is a very minor procedure. This is the same left thumb that had limited Lowry from March to May, so presumably this procedure had something to do with that issue. This should't affect his fantasy value, but those who want to draft the 33-year-old guard should invest a mid-round pick in Fred VanVleet.
