Taurean Prince struggles mightily in spot startMarch 18, 2023 | 06:59 PM

Taurean Prince shot 1-of-7 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday's 122-107 loss to the Raptors, accounting for four points, two rebounds, and two assists in 30 minutes. Analysis: With Anthony Edwards (ankle) sidelined, Prince was Chris Finch's choice to fill the void in the starting lineup. And the veteran wing struggled, missing all four of his 3-point attempts while also failing to record any defensive stats. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (4/2/2/2 in 19 minutes) wasn't much better, while Austin Rivers (back) was held out despite the Timberwolves announcing before the game that he was available. We'll see if Prince gets another shot to start when the Timberwolves host the Knicks on Monday, but it would not be a surprise if Finch decided to look elsewhere.
