Carpenter made both of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's upset over the Cardinals -- a 19-yarder and a 45-yarder -- but missed one of four extra-point attempts. The extra-point attempts were a big issue last season, when six misses almost cost Carpenter his job. However, Sunday's miss was his first of the season, and he's been true on eight others. With the Bills winning big, Carpenter's job seems fairly secure for the time being; however, his 17 points on the season put him just tied for 21st among the league's kickers.
