Barabanov signed a two-year deal with AK Bars of the KHL on Thursday, Max Miller of The Hockey News reports. Barabanov struggled in 2023-24, scoring only four goals while adding nine assists in 46 regular-season appearances, after a good 2022-23 campaign, in which he had 15 goals and 47 points in 68 appearances. Barabanov's NHL career is likely over as he is 30 years of age. Source: CBS Sports
