The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded Olli Maatta to the Chicago Blackhawks. In return, the Penguins will receive Dominik Kahun and a 5th round pick. Maatta has disappointed after a solid rookie season with the Penguins, picking up a goal and 14 points in 60 games this season. This helps Pittsburgh shed $3.158 million in cap space, giving them some much needed flexibility as we get closer to the unrestricted free-agency period.
