Faber signed an eight-year, $68 million contract extension with Minnesota on Monday. Faber has one more season left on his entry-level contract before his cap hit becomes $8.5 million in 2025-26. He amassed eight goals, 47 points, 136 shots on net, 150 blocked shots and 65 hits in 82 games during his rookie campaign in 2023-24. He finished second in Calder Trophy voting and has a bright future ahead of him as a top-pairing defender.
