Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports that the Angels have expressed interest in free agent shortstop Elvis Andrus. Analysis: The Angels have done a nice job upgrading their lineup this offseason -- adding Hunter Renfroe and Brandon Drury to the mix -- and it doesn't sound like they're finished. The 34-year-old shortstop is coming off of a resurgent 2022 season and is one of the top remaining players available on the free agent market. As of now, the Angels plan to utilize either Luis Rengifo or David Fletcher -- or some combination of both -- at the shortstop position.
