Brody Koerner has elected free agency. Analysis: Koerner has refused an outright assignment to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after passing through waivers unclaimed last week and will instead search for a new organization this offseason. The 27-year-old righty made just two appearances with the Yankees, but posted a respectable 3.39 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 64/23 K/BB ratio across 77 innings (26 appearances, 15 starts) at the Triple-A level.
