Buehler allows just one over 6 2/3 in victoryOctober 09, 2019 | 09:45 PM

Walker Buehler allowed just one run over 6 2/3 frames with seven strikeouts in his start against the Nationals in Game 5 of the NLDS. Buehler didn't have his best control again -- walking three and hitting another -- but the stuff was once again electric in the winner-take-all contest. The 25-year-old posted a 0.74 ERA over his 12 2/3 innings in this series, and pitched like an ace; as he did for most of 2019. Unfortunately, Clayton Kershaw was unable to hold onto the 3-1 lead, and the Nationals advance while the Dodgers' season comes a close earlier than most anticipated. You'll need to invest early to get Buehler in 2020, but considering the stuff and age, it's likely worth it.
