Eduardo Escobar was removed from Friday's game against the Phillies in the second inning due to an apparent injury.
Analysis: No word on what happened here yet either, as Escobar was pinch-hit for by Luis Guillorme before his first at-bat. Jeff McNeil was also removed from the game prior to the third inning with no clear indication as to what happened. Expect the Mets to provide some sort of clarity shortly.
