Indians purchased the contract of SS Gabriel Arias.
Analysis: The 20-year-old was the prize of the return package received from the Padres in the deal for Mike Clevinger. Arias slashed .302/.339/.470 with 17 homers in 120 games at High-A Lake Elsinore in 2019.
