Mariners signed RHP Jose Rodriguez to a minor league contract. Analysis: Rodriguez signed a minor league contract with the Mets last year and wound up posting a serviceable 4.95 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 68/36 K/BB ratio across 76 1/3 innings (29 appearances, 11 starts) for Triple-A Syracuse. The 27-year-old right-hander made 10 appearances (one start) for the Angels between 2019 and 2020. He hasn't made it back to the majors since the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign.
