Martin was not available Sunday and has not pitched since Wednesday due to soreness in his left, non-throwing shoulder, the Boston Globe reports. He's a candidate to be placed on the injured list because the Red Sox are worried his injury could impact his mechanics and result in another injury. If he's not feeling better after an off day Monday, the Red Sox may call up another pitcher to take his place in the bullpen.
