Reds invited LHP Nick Lodolo, LHP Phillip Diehl, RHP Graham Ashcraft, RHP Joel Kuhnel, C Chris Okey and C Chuckie Robinson to major league spring training. Analysis: Lodolo, the seventh overall selection in the 2019 MLB Draft, was limited to just 13 starts last season due to injuries, posting a sparkling 2.31 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 78/11 K/BB ratio across 50 2/3 innings between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Louisville. The 23-year-old righty isn't on the Reds' 40-man roster just yet, but doesn't appear far off from making an impact at the big-league level.
