Walker Buehler fires six scoreless in Game 6 winOctober 17, 2020 | 04:46 PM
Walker Buehler delivered a dominant performance in Saturday's victory over the Braves in Game 6 of the NLCS, striking out six over six scoreless innings.
Analysis: The right-hander scattered seven hits on the afternoon but didn't walk a batter. He threw 89 pitches in the game - 65 of those for strikes, including 13 swinging strikes. The Braves had him on the ropes a couple of times - including loading the bases with no outs in the second inning - but he battled back to strike out Austin Riley and Nick Markakis before getting Cristian Pache on a fielder's choice. It was the first time in 10 career postseason starts that Buehler failed to reach seven strikeouts. Through four postseason starts this year, he owns a stellar 1.89 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 29/11 K/BB ratio over 19 innings. Source: Rotoworld.com
