Boston no longer front runners for Davis?May 15, 2019 | 11:25 AM

The Celtics may no longer be front runners in the Anthony Davis sweepstakes. With the Pelicans landing the No. 1 overall pick yesterday they've already secured their next franchise star in Zion Williamson, so now, the AD-trade will be more about who fits best around Williamson rather than landing another star talent such as Jayson Tatum. The Knicks could toss in the No. 3 overall pick (which would likely be Williamson's Duke teammate -- RJ Barrett) in a package involving Kevin Knox, Mitchell Robinson and Dennis Smith Jr., and the Lakers could add their No. 4 overall selection to their initial offer involving Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma.
