Damian Lillard hits 4-of-12 shots in lossMay 14, 2019 | 08:43 PM
Damian Lillard hit just 4-of-12 shots, 2-of-5 3-pointers and 9-of-9 free throws in Tuesday's 116-94 loss to the Warriors, finishing with 19 points, four rebounds, six assists and seven turnovers in 37 minutes of Game 1.
Lillard appeared to injure a hamstring during the game, but was able to play through it. Banged up or not, he's likely going to keep playing unless he continues to tweak it going forward. The Blazers' defense was severely lacking tonight, as Enes Kanter hung out in the paint while his man set screens for Steph Curry, who hit nine 3-pointers, most of which were wide-open looks. Kanter double-doubled, and Moe Harkless, C. J. McCollum (7-of-19) and Rodney Hood each scored 17 points, but if the Blazers don't change up their defensive scheme, it's not going to matter how many points their offense scores.
