Jamal Murray drops 40 in Game 7 win over ClippersSeptember 15, 2020 | 08:52 PM
Jamal Murray hit 15-of-26 shots, 6-of-13 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws for 40 points, four rebounds, five assists and a steal in Tuesday's 104-89 Game 7 win over the Clippers to score a date with the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
Analysis: Wow. Murray has fully broken out in these bubble playoffs and while he's had some ups and downs, he figured out the Clippers and became the first team in NBA history to come back from being down 3-1 twice in the same playoffs. They were also down double digits in five of their six elimination games, yet battled back to win all of them. The Lakers-Nuggets series should be a blast to watch and it will be interesting to see if Murray can keep it going. If he survived the defense of the Clippers, he should be ready to rock against the Lakers. Murray has been rolling over his last four games, averaging 26.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the floor. Source: Rotoworld.com
