Kevon Looney to start at center for WarriorsSeptember 25, 2022 | 10:38 AM

Dalton Johnson wrote on Sunday that Warriors coach Steve Kerr has made it clear that Kevon Looney will be his starting center this season. Analysis: "It took me years to learn [The Warriors' system]," Looney said. "Once you get to experience it live and firsthand, it makes things a lot easier. You start to understand and see the pictures a lot easier." Looney will spend most of his training camp working with James Wiseman, who is going through his first camp after injuries and COVID kept him out of his first two. Even if the two end up in a timeshare neither center is going to be a great fantasy option this season. "Playing the center spot on this team, it's not like we're competing for shots or anything," Looney said. "It's not a lot of shine at that spot on this team. We both have to go out there and do the dirty work."
