The Pelicans are waiving Ryan on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Ryan made 28 regular-season appearances, including one start for the Pelicans in 2023-24 and averaged 5.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 13.9 minutes. The 26-year-old forward displayed impressive efficiency from beyond the arc, converting 45.1 percent of his 3.3 three-point attempts per contest. However, Ryan will head into the 2024-25 campaign as a free agent.
