The Pacers signed McConnell to a four-year, $45 million extension Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. McConnell is coming off a career year in 2023-24, as he averaged 10.2 points, 5.5 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 18.2 minutes across 71 regular-season appearances, including four starts. The 31-year-old guard was a crucial factor in the Pacers' run to the Eastern Conference Finals and is set to be the long-term backup point guard to Tyrese Haliburton.
